Yummy’s needed to gain a deeper understanding of its target customers and the competitive landscape in order to create a product that could both delight users and lead to long-term success. Conducting thorough user research and competitive analysis was essential to uncover the right market opportunities and differentiate the product from competitors in the market.


Role & Responsibilities:
As the founder, I was responsible for conducting comprehensive user research to understand customer needs and behaviour. Simultaneously, I carried out competitor analysis to understand their strategies, strengths, and weaknesses. This research was vital for crafting a product that resonated with users and stood out from the competition.

Conducted a series of interviews, surveys, focus groups and usability tests to gather qualitative and quantitative data on customer needs, pain points, and desires. Identified key demographic segments and their product preferences, behaviour, and purchasing patterns.

Analyzed the strategies, features, and offerings of competitors to identify gaps and opportunities to delight customers and differentiate Yummy’s from competitors. Reviewed competitors' market positioning, customer reviews, and product strengths to craft a value proposition that solved major pain points and added. value.

Integrated findings from both user research and competitive analysis to create a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape. Developed user personas and competitive positioning maps to guide product development decisions.
