Project Management for Designing Assets Across 8 Brands

Starting Point

As the lead designer for 8 wellness brands, I was tasked with ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of design assets for static posts, reels, and stories. Managing multiple brands meant working with different teams, timelines, and resources, requiring exceptional organisational skills to ensure deadlines were met and information was provided on time by brand owners.

Role & Responsibilities:

Whilst leading Project Management, I was responsible for managing the design and creation of daily assets for all 8 brands. I had to coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure all necessary media and information were delivered on time, and oversee the completion of assets to ensure that each brand’s content was ready for posting each evening.

Key Contributions:

Project Management & Time Organisation:

  • Planned and organised the project management for the design and creation of daily assets for all 8 brands, ensuring that each task was completed on schedule.

  • Time-blocked specific hours of the day for asset creation to maintain focus and ensure efficient delivery of the content.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborated closely with team members and brand owners to ensure that all necessary media, information, and feedback were provided in a timely manner.

  • Set clear deadlines for brand owners to submit content and media, ensuring there was sufficient time to create and finalise assets before the scheduled posting.

Streamlined Processes & Reduced Delays:

  • Created a clear and structured workflow that enabled me to efficiently handle multiple brands without compromising on quality or efficiency.

  • Reduced the need for constant follow-ups by proactively communicating deadlines and ensuring that media was delivered on time.

Results:

  • On-Time Delivery: All 8 brands’ assets were completed and ready for posting each evening, ensuring a consistent and professional social media presence for all brands.

  • Increased Customer Satisfaction: Customer satisfaction from brand owners increased by 40%, as they appreciated the timely delivery and smooth communication throughout the process.

  • Improved Efficiency: Brand owners delivered necessary media and information 25% faster, and the need for chasing up was reduced by 20%, streamlining the overall workflow.

Conclusion:

This project demonstrated the importance of effective time management, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication in ensuring the successful delivery of design assets for multiple brands. By implementing structured processes and maintaining proactive communication, I was able to meet deadlines consistently and exceed customer expectations, leading to a significant increase in satisfaction and efficiency.
